meet ALEX

LX – It’s a cute little play on words that’s both personal and professional. It’s not a grand ‘behind the name’ story, I know, but I was brought up on the KISS life philosophy.

KISS; Keep it Simple, Stupid. Therefore, Alex = LX = LX Copy.

So let’s not overcomplicate things. Here’s what you need to know about me:

Mum to two beautiful boys, author-in-progress, hot chip enthusiast, theoretical gin drinker, ex-pro athlete with knee and ankle problems, always being told I’m tall because it hasn’t been obvious my entire life, constantly in need of: sleep, cuddles, and skin that tans a bit easier, music lover who can’t sing or dance, scorpio, and rediscovering my inner child all the time (which is easy to do with rambunctious little boys using me as a climbing frame).

Warmth. Integrity. Thoughtfulness.

I was using a friend as a sounding board, trying to figure out what I want this business to be, how it can represent who I am, and I realised just how much I not only love helping people, but I also enjoy being a part of the journey and seeing it come to fruition. So warmth, integrity, and thoughtfulness are three things I want to provide along the way to those seeking my assistance as they strive for their own greatness.

Additionally, I’ve spent years working in teams toward a common goal, and I learned how incredibly  important it is to know who you are, and what you want to represent.

So LX Copywriting is here for you, and is built on these values:

Authenticity; I can’t act, it’s laughable, (literally, I’ve been laughed at), so i am who i am, always

Intentionality; every word, every choice, is made with deliberate intention, guaranteeing quality work.

Collaboration; I’m a team player, always have been.

Respect; respect the work, respect the process, and respect your fellow human beings.
